Partner at Roitman Abogados since 1980, Dr. Horacio Roitman is a leading figure in the field of corporate and business law in Argentina and Latin America. With more than four decades of experience, he combines academic excellence, judicial experience, and strategic leadership in professional practice.
A lawyer and Doctor of Law from the National University of Córdoba (UNC), he completed the Program of Instruction for Lawyers at Harvard University (USA). He served as Attorney General of the Province of Córdoba (1985–1987) and President of the Superior Court of Justice of Córdoba (1988–1990), as well as a substitute justice of the Superior Court of Justice of the Province of Córdoba (1990–1995), the Federal Criminal Court No. 1 of Córdoba (1998), the Federal Criminal Oral Court No. 1 of Córdoba (2007), and the Federal Court of Córdoba (2008–2014). He was President of the Arbitration Court of the Córdoba Stock Exchange and Director of the Mediation and Arbitration Center of the Argentine Chamber of Commerce (CEMARC).
His professional experience encompasses corporate debt restructuring, insolvency proceedings, mergers and acquisitions, corporate disputes, and international arbitration. He has been involved in landmark cases such as the first preventive insolvency proceeding of an Argentine state-owned company (ATC) and the insolvency proceedings of Azurix and Caminos de las Sierras S.A., as well as representing foreign companies in privatizations, public service concessions, and corporate reorganizations. Horacio Roitman also acts as an arbitrator and expert witness in proceedings before the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) and in private arbitrations. He was a member of the Ethics Tribunal of the Argentine Jewish Community (Buenos Aires) and is admitted to practice before the National Federal Courts in all jurisdictions and before the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation.
He is Senior Professor (Profesor Titular Plenario) at the National University of Córdoba (UNC), has served as a visiting and honorary professor at universities in Colombia and Peru, and as Director of the Master’s Program in Business Law at Universidad Siglo 21. He is a full member of the Academy of Law and Social Sciences of Córdoba and participated in key legislative reform committees in Argentina, including the reform of Insolvency Law No. 19,551 and the unification of the Civil and Commercial Code.
Founder and member of the editorial boards of leading legal publications—such as Revista de Derecho Privado y Comunitario, Revista de Derecho de Daños, Revista de Derecho Comparado, and Revista de Derecho Económico, among others—Dr. Roitman also served as Editor-in-Chief of Semanario Jurídico and Honorary Director of Jurisprudencia Argentina.
Horacio Roitman was awarded the 2016 Konex Award in the category of Commercial Law, as well as the 2015 Osik Rozenblat Award “For the Humanization of Education,” the 2006 Justice Award granted by the University of Business and Social Sciences (UCES), and the 1979 Buenos Aires Bar Association Award for his work “El boleto de compra y venta y la quiebra,” presented at the National Conference on Insolvency Law. In the academic field, he was distinguished in 2012 as Doctor Honoris Causa by the National University of Rosario, Santa Fe; and in 1963 he received a scholarship awarded by the American Field Service (AFS) of New York, USA.
He is the author of numerous books, treatises, and specialized articles published in Argentina and abroad. His career reflects a sustained commitment to excellence, professional ethics, and the development of business and comparative law.

Partner at Roitman Abogados, Ezequiel Roitman graduated summa cum laude and holds a Doctorate in Law from the National University of Córdoba (UNC). He has more than 20 years of solid experience in corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, debt restructuring, complex commercial litigation, and arbitration. His professional practice is distinguished by strategic advisory services to companies in key sectors such as technology, aviation, agribusiness, transportation, automotive, real estate, and investment funds. His work in corporate and business law also involves advising companies throughout all stages of development, from incorporation to international expansion processes, as well as exit strategies.
Ezequiel Roitman has a comprehensive academic background in Argentina and abroad: he holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from Columbia University, an MBA (UCC–ICDA), and completed the Executive Program (EP) at Singularity University (Santa Clara, San Francisco). These experiences provided him with a global and interdisciplinary perspective on business and innovation across different areas of expertise. He also served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Córdoba Stock Exchange and, in 2008, was recognized by that institution as one of the “Ten Outstanding Young Professionals.”
Throughout his career, he has advised technology companies on mergers and acquisitions, international strategic alliances, and leading airlines on litigation, consumer claims, and commercial contracts across different industries, with a particular focus on the technology sector. He has also participated in high-impact corporate restructurings involving more than 500 creditors and assets exceeding USD 500 million, representing debtors, creditors, sponsors, investors, and acquirers, both in judicial and out-of-court proceedings.
In the field of arbitration and mediation, Dr. Ezequiel Roitman serves as an arbitrator at the Permanent Arbitration Court of the Córdoba Stock Exchange and at the Mediation and Arbitration Center of the Chamber of Commerce and Services (CEMARC).
